Dining room with a dark wood table, white chairs, and arched wall niches in the Paris 16th apartment

Paris, 16th Arrondissement Apartment

In the heart of the 16th arrondissement, we were entrusted to design an apartment inspired by classic French proportions, architecture and beauty, seamlessly translated into contemporary features with a serenity to complement the clientele’s mien.

Living room with a curved cream sofa, marble fireplace, and wood-paneled bookshelves in the Paris 16th apartment

The atypical property curiously combines three periods: Haussmannian; a 1940s Art Deco refurbishment; and a 1970s extension. Our studio thus evolved its interiors whilst honouring the construction. Far from minimalism, the home’s classicism has been dusted off and transposed into the present. A refined approach to Parisian apartment interior design, rooted in heritage and reinterpreted for modern living.

Drawn from the building’s heritage and flirting with both rectilinear and curved edges, we designed Octave as much for the day as for a night scenario of living.

Our design transformed the couple’s pied-à-terre to their primary residence.
