Courtyard terrace with rattan sofas, checkered bistro chairs, and trailing greenery at The Mandrake Hotel

The Mandrake Hotel

Three years in the making, we knew we wanted to do something timelessly offbeat with this project. Utilising the building’s strong architecture and natural raw energy, we created a space that transforms guests into another world, shaping a distinctive hotel interior in London.

Dark bedroom with a purple velvet headboard and flanking cabinets at The Mandrake Hotel

Weaved throughout the hotel’s maze of rooms you’ll find a deliberately playful contrast of design with riots of fabrics, surrealist sculptures, bespoke furniture and bold colour statements, where nothing is quite as it seems. This approach to boutique hotel interior design creates a layered and immersive experience.

Working with the building’s natural light, each space feels intimate and glamorous, mirroring the hubbub of the hotel’s bustling atmosphere. Pockets of energy complemented by the dramatic use of materials and trippy artwork, we transformed this former Victorian office block into a refined and expressive hotel interior in London, a cool evolving retreat.
