Tala Fustok Studio created Home Bar for London’s WOW!house 2023. An Art Deco-influenced Breakfast Bar, the space was a bold oasis oozing glamour and splendour, dusted with enchanting Vessel Gallery glassware and vintage English silverware.
A considered contribution to London’s interior design landscape, exploring materiality, atmosphere and decorative detail.
Home Bar was a poem infused with stellar pieces from copious UK-based craftsmen and artisans, from ceramists to glassblowers.
Exuding a moonlight illusion, hedonistic backlit fabric romantically tapered down from the ceiling towards bespoke Art Deco blue moonscape cabinets by Donato Coppola, which melted into the 1930s galactic floor motif. Gathered bold fabric drapes by June Perkins adorned the back walls, cascading towards plush upholstered seating by John Hitch.
The black limestone breakfast bar by Donato Coppola in a moonscape finish was peppered with a heavenly orbit of accessories Fiona Finds and Alfies market, underneath a globe focal pendant by Vaughan Lighting which summoned a celestial tone. Estranged glass pieces flowed between table detailing such as a striking ceramic breakfast platter by English artist Alma Berrow.
The 1930s Breakfast on the Moon championed escapism at its finest and offered transformative relief within one of the planet's most electric cities.
